This website (www.kyalncurrant.com) is operated by Kyal Neil Currant ("we", "us", "our"), a speaking coach and event facilitator based in Queensland, Australia. We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in an open and transparent way, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us, or that is reasonably necessary to provide our services:

Contact details — your name, email address and phone number when you email us, book a connection call, or message us on social media.
Booking information — details you provide when you register for an event or book a call through our third-party platforms (Eventbrite and Calendly).
Coaching information — information you share with us during coaching programs, which may include sensitive personal stories. This is treated with strict confidence.
Technical information — like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and performance purposes.

3. How we use your information

To respond to your enquiries and provide our coaching services and events.
To process bookings and send you information about events or programs you have registered for.
To send you relevant updates where you have asked for them — you can opt out at any time, consistent with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

4. Who we share it with

We only share personal information with service providers we use to run this website and our services, and only to the extent needed:

Eventbrite — event ticketing and registration.
Calendly — booking connection calls.
Railway — website hosting.
Google — email and web fonts.
Spotify for Podcasters — hosting and delivery of The To Be Podcast.

Some of these providers store data on servers located outside Australia (including the United States). By using their services through this site, information you submit to them may be transferred overseas. Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently require cookies to function. If we introduce analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) they may use cookies to collect anonymised usage statistics; where required we will update this policy to reflect that. Third-party services embedded in or linked from this site (such as Eventbrite or Calendly) may set their own cookies when you use them.

6. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Email correspondence is stored in our email account, which is protected by access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Access and correction

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
